Web design · London

A London studio without the London agency machine.

Four senior people, five clients, no account managers and no floor of juniors to pay for. We design, build and then keep running websites for businesses across London — usually for years.

In London you get three kinds of quote.

Most companies we speak to have already collected all three, and none of them fitted. Here is the honest version of each.

The network agency Forty thousand and a discovery phase Good work happens, eventually, filtered through an account manager and a strategist who leave before build starts. You pay for the Shoreditch floor space and the pitch team.
The freelancer Fast, cheap, and one person deep Often excellent. But one person cannot cover design, build, SEO and accessibility, and when they take a full-time job your site has nobody.
The offshore team Cheap until it is not The build lands roughly as briefed. Then the questions start arriving at 3am, the handover never happens, and the next agency quotes to rebuild it.
Woofocus Four seniors, one contact, no theatre Everyone on your site has fifteen years behind them. One person answers you. We stay after launch, which is when websites actually earn or lose money.

What London companies come to us for

A site that survives its own success

You have outgrown the site a founder built in a weekend. We rebuild it around what people actually search for and what your sales team keeps re-explaining on calls.

Professional services, SaaS, manufacturers, membership bodies.
A store that behaves like a business

Not a theme with plugins bolted on. Dealer pricing, ERP feeds, quote flows, subscriptions — the parts a London retailer needs once orders stop being simple.

WooCommerce, including stores we did not build.
Someone permanently on it

Updates, uptime, speed, forms tested on a schedule, and a monthly note that says what changed and what it did. Not a ticket queue.

From £1,200 a month, cancel with a month’s notice.

Detail on each: web design, WooCommerce development, WordPress maintenance and product & interface design.

Based south west, working the whole city.

The studio is off Sigrist Square in Kingston upon Thames, thirty minutes from Waterloo. Kickoff workshops and photo days happen in person wherever you are in London; everything after that runs better on a call and a shared board than in a meeting room.

Being outside zone one is also why our numbers look like they do. Same seniority, none of the rent.

And well beyond it — our longest-running client is a certification body in Illinois. Distance has never been the thing that decides whether this works.

Questions London companies ask

Why are you cheaper than a central London agency?+

Because you are not paying for a sales team, a strategist who hands off, or an office in zone one. Five people do the work and one of them answers your email. The seniority is the same; the overhead is not.

Do you meet in person?+

For kickoff, workshops and photo days, yes, anywhere in London. After that most clients prefer calls — a 45-minute call beats losing half a day to travel on both sides. If you want quarterly in person, we will come.

We already have an SEO agency. Does that clash?+

No, and we would rather they stayed. We build sites that make their job possible: clean structure, fast pages, schema, no rendering surprises. Where there is no SEO agency, that groundwork is included rather than sold separately.

How quickly can you start?+

We keep five retainer clients at a time, so it depends on whether a seat is open. As of now there is one. If there is not, we will say so on the call rather than stack you behind other work.

Do you work with everyone?+

No. We turn down work where the brief is to squeeze the visitor — dark patterns, fake urgency, hidden pricing. It is a short list, but it is real, and it is the reason our clients stay.
