Who we are
Woofocus is a web design and website care studio based at Sigrist Square, Kingston upon Thames, London. For UK GDPR purposes we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@woofocus.com.
What we collect
- •When you book a call. Your name, email address and anything you type into the booking form. This goes through Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling.
- •When you email us. Your address and the contents of your message.
- •When you browse. If you accept analytics cookies: pages viewed, approximate location from your IP, device and browser type, and how you arrived. If you decline, we set nothing beyond what is needed to remember that choice.
We do not buy lists, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we never sell personal data.
Why, and on what basis
- •To reply to you and run a project, on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing that contract.
- •To understand which pages help, on the basis of your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
- •To keep the site up and secure, on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working, uncompromised website.
Cookies on this site
Nothing but the strictly necessary is set until you choose. Analytics tags load in a denied state and only activate if you accept.

Who else sees it
- •Google Ireland Ltd, Calendar Appointment Scheduling, Analytics and Tag Manager. Data may be processed outside the UK under the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- •Our hosting and email providers, strictly to deliver the site and our correspondence.
- •Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects: 24 months, then deleted. Project records: seven years after the engagement ends, because HMRC requires it. Analytics: 13 months. Your cookie choice lives only in your own browser.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or take it elsewhere. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what came before. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first.
